Question #1: Does the Scholarship Committee ever grant exceptions to established policy?
We recognize that students sometimes face unusual and unanticipated challenges. When you believe extenuating circumstances, such as an illness or family emergency, interfere with your ability to comply with scholarship policies, you may request an exception by submitting a petition to the Undergraduate Scholarship Committee, A-41 ASB, Provo, UT 84602 or sch-petitions@byu.edu. Whenever possible, you must petition in advance.

If you are petitioning based on medical circumstances, please have your physician complete the physician's verification form and submit it to our office along with your email.
