E. S. Hinckley Scholarship

Thursday, October 14^th

College Honored Alumni Lecture Series: 11:00 am, various locations, free of charge.
E.S. Hinckley display: Please visit the Harold B. Lee Library throughout the week to see a small display on E.S. Hinckley.
*Reunion Banquet: 6:30 pm (WSC Ballroom). Lloyd D. Newell, a former Hinckley scholar and voice of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, will emcee this event, with President Cecil O. Samuelson and other special guests. Tickets for this event will be $25, and will include an entrée, beverage, salad and dessert. Please indicate your preference for a chicken or beef dish on the enclosed reservation form. Additionally, please note on the form if you prefer a vegetarian dish.
- In addition, the family has recently compiled a 400 page book on the life of E.S. Hinckley. This book will be available at the reunion for the price of $25 per copy.

Friday, October 15^th

*Homecoming Spectacular: 7:30 pm (Marriott Center). Past performers included the Young Ambassadors, Men’s Chorus, the International Folk Dance Ensemble, Living Legends, and the Cougarettes. Tickets are $12 and seats are located in the lower concourse.
Homecoming Dance: There will be several dances throughout the weekend. Although we will not be sponsoring a dance, we will be happy to provide information upon request.

Saturday, October 16^th

Cougar Run: 9:30 am (BYU track). This 5K run will offer prizes to the top finishers and will raise funds for BYU women’s athletics. Kid’s races will also be held. For registration and information visit byucougarrun.com.
Homecoming Parade: 10 am (starts at Marriott Center East Parking Lot)
*Tailgate Party: Time to be announced (Conference Center Patio) The tailgate will precede the game; we will notify you of times once the game time has been set. The cost for the tailgate will be $7 per person and will be held at the BYU Conference Center patio, within walking distance of LaVell Edwards Stadium. In case of inclement weather we will move the tailgate into a room inside the Conference Center .
*Homecoming Football Game vs. the University of Wyoming: Time to be announced (LaVell Edwards Stadium) We will be reserving block seats in the end zone, tickets are $17 per person. Please let us know of any accessibility issues. All ticket orders must be received by Friday, August 20^th, in order to guarantee seats.

Sunday, October 17^th

*Music and the Spoken Word: Doors open at 8:30, guests must be in their seats by 9:15 am (Salt Lake Tabernacle, SLC) Lloyd D. Newell, a former Hinckley scholar, has graciously invited the Hinckley family and former recipients to attend the Music and The Spoken Word broadcast. Transportation is on your own. Please let us know if you are planning on attending this event. There is no charge to attend.
